Overview
Every summer, CFA Institute releases the new version of the CFA Program curriculum that will be tested in the following year’s exams. The 2020 CFA Program curriculum includes several new readings on topics as diverse as alternative investments, ethics, financial technology, and institutional and private wealth management. To know more about what’s new in the CFA Program curriculum, join this live webinar on 22 August 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00pm (UTC) with Rob Langrick, CFA, CIPM, Head of Practice Analysis and Barbara Petitt, PhD, CFA, Head of Curriculum and Learning Experience. The speakers will highlight the key changes to the 2020 CFA Program curriculum, and explain how CFA Institute gathers inputs and feedback from practitioners around the globe to help identify and prioritize the content to be included in the CFA Program curriculum. It will be an opportunity to refresh your knowledge of key investment industry topics, and to engage with CFA Institute staff who will answer questions from the audience.

About the Speaker(s)
Barbara S. Petitt, PhD, CFA Head, Curriculum and Learning Experience, CFA Institute Barbara S. Petitt, PhD, CFA has over 20 years’ experience designing, developing, and delivering educational offerings in finance-related topics. She is currently Head of Curriculum and Learning Experience at CFA Institute, leading the team responsible for the development of the curriculum and study tools for the CFA Program, CIPM Program, and Investment Foundations Program. Her previous roles at CFA Institute were as Head of Journal Publications and Managing Editor of the Financial Analysts Journal and as Director of Curriculum Projects, EMEA. Prior to joining CFA Institute in 2012, Barbara was Director of Online Studies for the MSc in Management programs for the partnership between Laureate Online Education and the University of Liverpool. She also held academic positions in the U.S., the U.K. and France. She started her career working as a consultant and continued to consult for corporate clients until she joined CFA Institute. Barbara holds a master in management from EDHEC Business School, and a master in research and a PhD in finance from the University of Grenoble. She is a member of the Board of Directors of The Q-Group.
Rob Langrick, CFA, CIPM, is Head of Practice Analysis, continually ensuring that the CFA Institute curricula remain up-to-date and reflect day-to-day practice of finance professionals globally. Prior to joining CFA Institute, he led Bloomberg’s global education division where he oversaw Bloomberg’s campus operations in more than 80 countries, authored and designed the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC
